Jesus is simply indescribable

It was so cool to hear all your stories on Wednesday night of how Jesus had changed your life. That was seriously the best way to communicate what Jesus is all about. I hope you guys have fun reading through the gospels this week, and I hope Jesus just jumps off those pages and changes you from the inside out.

Also, it was so awesome to welcome those three people on Wednesday night as our brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember to pray for them.

Fire in my bones

I hope you all will be praying every single day for those people you wrote down on your paper tonight. I can't wait to see what God does in the lives of your friends and family as you earnestly pray for them this week. I look forward to seeing some of your friends there next week as we talk about Jesus. Poetry and other cool stuff.

It was so cool to read your poems and letters and to see your drawings tonight.  Thanks for being bold and lifting up the name of the Lord.  I hope you enjoy reading through Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and even Song of Solomon this week.  I pray that this series is giving you confidence and direction as you read God's Word.  See ya next week...

Oh Lord, we cast down our idols

It's cool to know that all the things you wrote down on that red paper are now just ashes. That's the same way as God looks at them too. When you live in obedience, God is so pleased. I want to thank all of you for showing up, listening and applying God's Word. It's a joy to study God's Word each week and then spew it out to you. Feel free to comment and write your thoughts and questions from this week. Also, if you read something cool in one of those 12 books, make sure to comment on it. See ya next week...

The Law

I hope you all had as much as fun as me diving into those books tonight.  Reading the books of the Law gives me such a bigger picture of what Jesus did for me.  Feel free to comment if you'd like. Get some discussions going about what reading God's Word is doing to you.

Wide Angle - Intro week

I am so excited about these next 8 weeks as we will see God's beautiful story unfold.  I pray this week that you will each be in the Word often and also memorizing those books of the Bible.  I pray that your hearts will be open to the incredibly big story that God is telling.  Let me know your thoughts and questions as you seek to understand God's Word.  It's a really big, old book and it's OK to have questions.  

May God's Word forever change your life...
